But to figure out what's needs to spin and which levers need to move to allow a manual eject operation can require some mechanical thinking. I don't remember much difficulty in opening up Ford OEM head units, and often the gears and pulleys are pretty easily accessible. Pull the lower part of the back seat out by pushing on each side of the front towards the back of the car and lifting. Once those are out, it will become apparent where it'll fit. Remove kick panels at drivers front and rear door. Be careful not to use anything with a magnetized tip so you don't magnetize the head. Tape the harness about every 8 or 12 inches so it stays in one bundle. If the tape material is wound around the rollers you could try cutting the tape (it's ruined anyway) pulling the cassette housing out far enough that you can use picks or screwdrivers to slide the wrapped tape off the rollers.
